I Wish...

I wish I could wear sweatshirts everyday, everywhere.

And I wish it were cold enough here so that I could without sweating my face off.

:]

Today the world stopped for me

It blinked and smiled and waved

The earth let me sample a taste of the warm sunshine

The world danced for me today

It showed me colors and played me songs

The earth gave me a glimpse of what real life ought to be

Today I caught the world laughing

It told me stories and painted me pictures

The earth held my hand

We closed our eyes and counted to ten

Jumped off, and felt the breeze carry us to the moon

We swam across the universe and touched the stars

Made the planets spin like a merry-go-round

Today the world stopped for me

I stopped as well, and said hello

We shared a smile between old friends

It saw me off today, into Heaven

The earth waved as I flew away and gave me a tear to remember it by

But I gave it back and asked for something else

The earth gave me a jar full of its laughter and I held it tight

We embraced and shared a final look

Until I drifted away to my eternal home

If You Want To Veiw Paradise, Simply Look Around And Veiw It...

Right now I'm in that kind of mood when all I really want to do is sing and dance and smile and laugh and feel good. "Let's get together and feeeel alright..."

I feel! I feel! I feel like a morning star!

Laaadeedadeeda.

I get so annoying when I'm like this. Ask my brother. Ahh, the things he puts up with...

This mood could also be called my baking mood. Or bike riding mood. Or flower-picking mood.

Dagnamit. I feel so good! *turns into a fat-Asian-sumo-wrestler and bodyslams skinny-Asian-karate-sensai*

I should probably add some substance to this post, or people won't read it. Hehe. Silly people...

So, I'm in England! I've been going places, seeing things, doin' stuff. And with my family too! *does happy dance*

I been writing as well. Not very much, though; and no way are any of you going to be seeing it, so don't even try to ask. Don't even THINK about it!

Actually, I was kind of thinking about posting some of it.

Haha. :P

But I won't, or at least if I do, it won't be up long enough for anyone to actually read it.

Yeah, I'z indecisive like that.

I made peanut butter cookies yesterday, and today I helped my aunt make a cake! I actually didn't help that much; she did most of it, but I did make the frosting and apply it! It took forever. Heh. I will never again take a good cake-frosting job for granted. :)

I've been sewiously craving William Shakespeare. For reals. I'm going to see his birthplace and house and stuff soon! Sometime... Not sure when. But I'm excited.

We're also maybe planning a trip to Edinborough or Dublin! And we're definitely going to the White Cliffs of Dover, Windsor Castle, and we're going to make another trip to London to see the London Tower and St. Paul's Cathedral. Eek!

I'm insanely excited for the next school year!

Okay, maybe not that excited, but there a slight twinge of anticipation in my soul reserved especially for it.

I gon' be a Freshman. Honestly, I don't really care that it's my first official year of highschool. I'm more looking forward to the classes I'm taking, really. I always am. And then I take it all back the first week. Then I say it again at the end of Christmas break. And then at the almost-end of the school year I swear I never said anything like it in the first place.

Hehe. Oh, rabbit holes...

I've been thinking. And any one of my frequent readers can tell you, this I'd not something I do often. ;)

Anyways, I think, that once this whole 'teenage hormonal' crap stuff the world likes to call it, is over, and I'm like 21 or so, I would actually like to live my life as a 'single lady'. I know Beyoncé would be proud. ;)

My reasons... Are mine.

I'm going to be the world's best trapeze artist and no man is gonna get in my way! *intimidating/angry/scary/determined face*

Which reminds me! I want to see Cirque du Soliel. So. Badly.

All da pretty colorssss...

I've been having arguments with my iPod a lot lately. Seriously, it needs to take some anger-management classes. This thing is way too controlling. Who are you to say how I spell 'towers'? You hatin' on mah swag, Ophelia Marie? (Why yes, I did give my iPod a name. And a mighty pretty one at that! I intend to name my daughter after it one day. Mmmhm. Well, if I have a daughter. 'Well, if no one ever marries me...')

Goodness gracious.

I'm turning into an annoying Freshman.
Dangit!! The world is going to hate me EVEN MORE NOW.

Well, world, the feeling is mutual.

...not really.

:P

I'm going to shut up. It's 11:17 PM here, so goodnight to Englishmen and have a pleasant rest of the day to those across the pond.

Thursday, March 24

Hello...

I'm excited for spring break. For some reason the notion of a complete break from school is kind of... Strange? I'm not sure why; it's not like all I ever do is school. But still, it's just going to be weird. I hope to get a lot done though. I have Project Titusville from Sunday to Wednesday. I was also wanting to do/finish a few projects I have in mind. And ice skating. :) Project Titusville is robbing me the pleasure of going with my band, which I'm not too happy about. Eh...

Today I was somewhere in between wanting to hug every one I saw and wanting to run away from every single person I know. So, in other words, it was a normal Thursday.

Brightside: I feel like I'm starting to finally belong.

Darkside: I know the feeling, and soon something's going to happen that will remind me of how replaceable I am--again.

I do care, but sometimes it just feels like no one really even wants me to.

Always fun to come to that realization. It's kind of scary with how pleasant being a hermit sounds to me.

" I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the LORD
In the land of the living. " -Ps. 27:13

As depressing as a Florida spring may be, I have had fun picking the flowers which ensue. They're like little kids running freely amidst a boring business meeting. :]
